What actually happens when you press Fast Scan.
No black box and no guesswork. Here is the whole method, in order, so you can decide whether it is the kind of starting point you want.
1. The rules are fixed before the run
Nothing is decided on the day. The same written criteria are applied to every company, in the same order, every single time.
2. Around 3,400 to 3,800 stocks are checked
Each run reads live market data for around 3,400 to 3,800 NYSE and NASDAQ stocks, then keeps only the ones that clear every rule.
3. The final list
7 stocks in Category 1 5 stocks in Category 2 3 stocks in Category 3 But these will change as circumstances change.
4. You take the files with you
One tap saves the whole dashboard on your own phone, and it stays readable there for 30 days.
The rules, in plain words
Analyst agreement
A consensus rating of Buy or Strong Buy, with enough analysts covering it to mean something.
Room to grow
An average analyst target at least 20% above the current price.
Sensible valuation
Profitable, with earnings figures that are actually reported rather than guessed at.
Size bands
Results are grouped into three market-cap categories so a small company is never judged against a giant.
Left out
Very small listings, the very largest companies, warrants, and shares with missing or unreliable data.
